Towards A Healthy Nation
Meeting the challenges of a diverse society for good health and well-being
Hyatt Regency Adelaide, North Terrace, Adelaide
30-31 October 2006
The conference will explore the issues of health for the diverse community of Australia. The conference themes reflect the challenges faced by the community, carers, clinicians, service providers, planners and policy makers in their efforts to provide high quality health for Australia's multicultural community.
The conference is designed to:
Explore the issues identified at the Diversity in Health conference 2005. The 2005 conference involved many presentations about current research and projects and raised relevant issues; however, there was little opportunity for follow up discussion. Comments from delegates identified that it would be of great benefit to pick up the issues identified and explore them in an interactive environment.
