Fourth Diversity Matters Forum 2007

The First Diversity Matters Forum was held in Brisbane, October 2001. It was a bi-partisan approach between the Commonwealth Institute and the Australian Multicultural Foundation. The forum successfully concluded with a number of resolutions and a Statement of Principles, which was forwarded to the CHOGM meeting in March 2002.

First Diversity Matters Forum

The Diversity Matters Forum was held in Brisbane, Australia between 3 and 5 October 2001. Conceived and organised by the Commonwealth Institute and the Australian Multicultural Foundation, the forum attracted seventy speakers, experts and delegates from nine Commonwealth countries who gathered to debate the case for a new Commonwealth initiative on the promotion of constructive cultural diversity in the Commonwealth, and to identify ways to incorporate diversity as an integral part of the Commonwealth's policy agenda in the new Century.

Second Diversity Matters Forum

The Second Diversity Matters Forum, designed to develop and implement pragmatic approaches towards promoting social cohesion in Commonwealth countries, took place in London in 2003.
