The Australian Multicultural Foundation welcomes Linda Yang

Linda Yang, a first-generation Hmong Australian with a strong sense of humility has joined the Australian Multicultural Foundation as interim case manager of the Northern CSG program. Linda is passionate about empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds by creating inclusive opportunities.

Linda completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology and Nutrition and is a qualified counselor. Over the past 18 months, she has provided counselling support to vulnerable community members through the Islamic Society of Victoria. Linda previously had a role at Uniting Vic/Tas as a consumer partner and worked as a project coordinator at the National Zakat Foundation. 

Linda enjoys attending and speaking at conferences in order to gain new inspiration and to inspire others. 

Linda enjoys cooking or baking delicious sweets in her spare time and spending time with her family.
