The Islamic Museum of Australia will be running a free professional development seminar on the topic of Contemporary Islam in Australia inspired by their new exhibition theme, Ways To Be Muslim.
The free seminar will run from 5:30pm – 8:30pm on Wednesday 9th May and is open to teachers, service providers, and anyone working with Muslim communities.
Run by Sherene Hassan OAM, Education Director, Reid Sweid, project manager and PhD candidate at Deakin University, and Nur Shkembi, Exhibition Curator and PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, the seminar will include a fully guided tour, a curator floor talk, and light refreshments.
