Letters to Australia: Hannah Diviney

Hannah Diviney is a 22-year-old leading disability advocate and writer.  Her greatest achievements in advocacy include creating a wildly successful Change.org petition calling on Disney Studios to create a disabled Disney Princess, and co-founding the charity event Krazy Kosci Klimb, which sees young people with disabilities and their families conquer Mt Kosciuszko. Hannah is the Editor-in-Chief of the global publication initiative, Missing Perspectives, a platform dedicated to addressing the marginalisation and underrepresentation of women and girls in news, media, democracy, and decision-making around the world. Hannah has recently been nominated for the 2022 Young Australian of the Year award. In her spare time, she’s finishing her final semester of a Bachelor of Arts/International Studies at the University of Wollongong. You can find out more about Hannah at www.hannahdiviney.com.
